Music City Radio – call for submissions!

Just got this through, so spreading the word.

Music City Radio – call for submissions!

In August 2008 Glasgow was named a UNESCO City of Music with the distinct honour of being the first British city to receive this status.

As you are one of the people involved in the music scene of Glasgow, City of Music is pleased to be able to invite you to be part of our new project ‘Music City Radio – Celebrating Glasgow’s Music’.

Due to launch in April 2010, Music City Radio will help promote your music, events, concerts and shows to local and international listeners who will tune in via our website:

We are working with our friends at Open Ear to create a bespoke music stream that covers all genres of music being produced in the city for our new website (due April 2010), as we know that the best way to promote the amazing music being produced in the city is to let people hear it.

If you have material (MP3’s of releases, live recordings, interviews etc.) that you would like to include you can upload it here:

Or send it on disc to:

Glasgow City of Music
20 Trongate
G1 5ES

All music we use will be fully credited and will link to your website / download shop.

For more information please contact:

Telephone: 0141 3022819

We would also like to hear your thoughts on this project and any suggestions are welcome.
